Children of the Nation

Our Life Group (like a bible study group at church) decided to help out with Children of the Nations for Christmas this year.  We packaged 4000 bags of rice/beans/spices that will be sent to people in one of four countries with orphaned and destitute children who desperately need food.  It was a great time and we are so proud of little Izzy for helping out.  She doesn't understand completely but she does know that she was helping to make food for kids who are hungry.   Here's a cute video of Izzy dressed as a cafeteria lady and please check out the website for more info if you are interested.

Tiny Dancer

Isabelle had her winter dance recital last night and it was awesome.  She didn't do much dancing but she LOVED being up there and made sure to wave and say "Hi Daddy" and "Hi Miss Sue".  She told me after that there were a lot of people and that they loved to see her dance and they clapped for her.  I'm so proud of my little star!

Happy Birthday Baby!

It's the big 40 for my hubby today.  Happy Birthday to the most wonderful husband and father in the whole world.  I'm so proud to be your wife and partner in crime.  Can't wait to be with you for the next 40 years (after that I'll probably need some time to myself :))

Little late

Oops, I'm a little late on the Skye 4 month update.  She was 12 pounds 4 ounces and I think 24 inches? but I don't remember the length/height for sure.  I do know she was in the 50th percentile for height and 25th for weight.  The doctor said no solid food until 5-6 months (I tried a couple of times but Skye wasn't interested) but I do get to try and stop the Zantac.  She loves looking at and listening to her sister, playing with her hands, reaching out a grabbing toys, sitting in her multiple activity things and yelling at the top of her little lungs.  Here are some pictures!
